Why are people so annoying?

Not done.

"I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours." -Stephen Roberts
"Gods are fragile things; they may be killed by a whiff of science or a dose of common sense." -Chapman Cohen
“Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he eats for the rest of his life. But, teach a man religion, and he dies praying for fish."
"Philosophy is questions that may never be answered. Religion is answers that may never be questioned."
When I was younger, I would go along with what my parents told me. Recently, I have been talking to my brother more and he does not believe in a god. I guess you could say he smartened me up. He made me think about everything, and I don't consider myself a Catholic anymore. I can see that if someone needs some reassurance, they would turn to 'god' and pray. That's what I used to do, but now that I am more informed about religion, I don't believe in anything. 'God' has always been used to explain what we do not understand. As science explains more and more of how and why something happens, the less there is attributed to God. Studies show that the more educated an individual is, the less likely s/he is to be deeply religious or to even believe in a god.
